The most expensive home currently listed in our Multiple Listing Service is a 12-bedroom contemporary home in Fairfax County, VA. It’s being offered at a jaw-dropping price of $29,900,000. That’s right, just short of $30 MILLION!
It was built in 1981 and has 10 fireplaces and 15 – you got that right – 15 full baths plus an additional 6 half baths. It sits on 5 acres along the Potomac River. The agent’s remarks say it’s “A Dream, A Prize, A Legacy!” It ought to be for $30 million!
If that doesn’t quite fit your budget, I’m more than happy to help you find your dream house. Call or text me and we’ll set up a time right after the holidays to talk about it.
Another email. Could be sent right after Christmas
You may already be too late
Most people would say that Spring starts in April or May, when flowers are in full bloom and the weather is getting warmer, right?
Wrong! At least in real estate! We never know for sure when the real estate market will start to heat up, but it's almost always before the snow is gone and almost never when the temperatures rise. In fact, by that time, the Spring market is over. The good deals have disappeared and the good buyers have bought.\
If you're even thinking this might be a good year for you to buy or sell, don't wait for Spring. Let's talk right after the holidays!

Eleven Reasons
Is it possible that the best time to list your house is during the holidays or early January? Yes! Here's why: - The most serious buyers are out when the weather is cold and the holidays are keeping everyone else occupied. - Serious buyers have less to chose from in the winter, meaning you have a better chance of selling - There will be much more competition in January as other sellers begin to get serious about selling. More competition means less money
I know you're busy right now, so I won't write out all eleven reasons. But if you'd like me to send you the 11 reasons it's a good idea to list around the holidays, contact me. Or, we can get together and chat. Let me know what works for you.
